A Bit on English

English is an awfully strange language.

~~~
"Pronounce this word: rough."
"Rouwg."
"No, ruhf."
"Ruhf."
"Good. Let's try this one now: trough."
"Truhf."
"No, that would be trof."
"Trof."
"Very nice. Let's add another letter: through."
"Throf."
"Hmm... try again."
"Thruhf?"
"No, no... throo."
"Throo."
"Good job. Last one... thorough."
"Thoroo?"
"No, tr-"
"Thoruhf? Thorof?"
"...Boy, this is kinda rough, isn't it?"
"Ruhf."
"...Good for you."
~~~~~~~

Naturally, I love the English language.

Take Care,
~Neil

I agree...the things that make it a difficult language to learn also make it fun to play with in artistic contexts.

A guy at Plagiarist.com is called Jough Dempsey, and I still don't know if it's Juff, Joe, Jew, or Joff.
