Welcome and Whatnot

Mmkay, welcome to LAEvanesce: Opines. For starters, a definition of "opine":

o·pine v. o·pined, o·pin·ing, o·pines

v. tr. To state as an opinion.

v. intr. To express an opinion: opined on the defendant's testimony.

...As pulled from American Heritage 4th Edition. I'm sure you get the point; I'm here to opine, as well as tell interesting stories with some sort of meaning behind them, provide links to interesting articles, perhaps display art, and type up certain various other things. In case you're wondering, I am *not* going to tell you about my trip to Hawaii, what I ate yesterday, or anything else like that. If you know me personally, you can ask personally. If you don't know me personally, you can, well... not ask personally. Yup.
